Stein Adler Welcomes Devon Bergman to Commercial and Real Estate Litigation Groups
Stein Adler Dabah & Zelkowitz LLP is excited to welcome Devon Bergman as an Associate in Stein Adler Dabah & Zelkowitz LLP’s Commercial and Real Estate Litigation groups. She represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on matters involving commercial real estate.
Devon brings a practical, business-minded perspective to litigation. She makes a point of understanding how her clients operate, the industries in which they do business and the broader considerations driving a dispute. That understanding informs both her litigation strategy and the counsel she provides. Her clients include commercial real estate owners and operators, closely held businesses and individuals.
Devon has experience across all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings and substantive motions, managing discovery, taking depositions, appearing in court conferences and hearings, negotiating settlements and assisting at trial. Her practice has also included arbitrations and a wide range of real estate disputes.
Before joining Stein Adler, Devon practiced at prominent New York boutique litigation firms, where she represented clients in commercial and real estate matters. During law school, she worked with the Innocence Project, where she managed wrongful conviction cases, worked directly with clients and coordinated with District Attorney’s offices in connection with evidentiary issues.
Devon earned her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and Staff Editor of the Cardozo International and Comparative Law Review. She earned her B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where she was a National Merit Scholar.
