  • The depth of our experience helps us maximize value, anticipate concerns and efficiently get you across the finish line. We regularly handle transactions involving every asset class across the country, including acquisitions and dispositions of single assets and portfolios.

  • We regularly represent both sponsors and equity investors in the formation and negotiation of complex joint venture transactions, including one-off and programmatic joint venture arrangements, due diligence, closings and post-closing operational obligations. Our experienced team of attorneys are able to anticipate issues and provide a creative, solutions-oriented approach that allows prospective partners to expeditiously document their relationship.

  • We regularly advise clients on debt and equity financings at every level of the capital stack, including acquisition and bridge loans, permanent and construction loans, mezzanine loans, syndicated loans, credit tenant lease financings, and leasehold financings. We also guide clients through complex intercreditor relationships and participation agreements.

  • We frequently represent landlords and tenants in retail, office and industrial property leases throughout the U.S.

  • We advise institutional and private lenders, borrowers, owners, operators, developers, investors, funds and other parties on all aspects of distressed real estate and debt, including workouts, modifications, restructurings, the purchase and sale of distressed debt, and preferred equity and mezzanine investments in distressed property.

  • Stein Adler Represents Box Equities in Rivian Distribution Center Acquisition

    We represented Box Equities, a national real estate investment firm focused on retail distribution centers, in the acquisition of a large facility in Normal, Illinois, used by the electric vehicle maker Rivian.

  • Stein Adler Represents East Coast Acquisitions in Retail Center Purchases

    We represented East Coast Acquisitions on the $38 million acquisition of the Roswell Market Place in Georgia, the $18 million acquisition of Midtown Mobile in Alabama, and the $25 million purchase of Red Willow Plaza in Florida.

  • Stein Adler Represents Woodhill Real Estate in $24M Warehouse Acquisition

    We represented Woodhill Real Estate in the $24 million acquisition of a 550,000 square-foot manufacturing and warehouse property in Greenville, SC.

  • Stein Adler Represents Investor in $25M Marriott Hotel Acquisition

    We represented a real estate investor in the $25 million acquisition of a Marriott hotel that was in receivership in Woodbridge, New Jersey; and the negotiation of a new hotel management and franchise agreement.

  • Stein Adler Represents Topaz Capital Group in Florida Multifamily Acquisitions

    We represented Topaz Capital Group, a multifamily real estate investment firm focused on the Southeast U.S., in the acquisition of three large multifamily properties across Florida, totaling more than 1,000 units.

  • Stein Adler Represents Investor in $2.5 Billion Office Portfolio Acquisition

    We represented a high-net-worth investor in connection with the $2.5 billion acquisition of a Class A office property portfolio across eight U.S. states.

  • Stein Adler Represents Investment Fund in Three Large Office Building Acquisitions

    We represented a real estate investment fund in the $415 million acquisition of the Leo Burnett building in Chicago; the $178 million acquisition of a Starwood office portfolio in Heathrow, Florida, and the $150 million acquisition of a Class A office tower in Los Angeles.
